Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Memphis, TN)

We are growing our team at Lumen Vale Community Partners and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around benefits enrolment that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in benefits enrolment. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
