Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Little Rock, AR)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Thistle Learning Group and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. Families are partners. What you will do • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in family communication. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Little Rock. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
