Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Kansas City, MO)

Highbridge Vista Financial is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for vendor spend, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around vendor spend that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in vendor spend. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
