Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Kansas City, MO)

Silverline Kestrel Markets is a Kansas City retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 81 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around promotions that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in promotions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
