Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Nova Systems and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in family communication. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
