Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Summit Willow Early Learning and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around licensing records that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in licensing records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
