Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Jackson, MS)

Cedar Union Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Jackson presenting exhibitions and performances, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our research and testing. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around ticketing that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in ticketing. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
