Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Jackson, MS)

Clearpath Timber Financial is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for customer onboarding, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 59 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Design for tasks around customer onboarding that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in customer onboarding. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
