Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Indianapolis, IN)

Greenridge Pike Learning Group is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for school calendars, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 296 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around school calendars that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in school calendars. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
