Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Indianapolis, IN)

Stonegate Summit Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Indianapolis, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our research and testing. We celebrate small wins and steady routines. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in classroom supplies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Indianapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
