Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Honolulu, HI)

We are growing our team at Summit Maple Community Partners Group and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around food distribution that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in food distribution. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
