Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Grand Rapids, MI)

Cedar Iron Pharma is a pharmaceutical company in Grand Rapids producing generic and specialty treatments. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around quality documentation that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in quality documentation. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
