Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Grand Rapids, MI)

Harborlight Ivory Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Grand Rapids serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in deposit accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
