Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Grand Rapids, MI)

Foxglove Pine Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around Grand Rapids, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our research and testing. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Design for tasks around release testing that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in release testing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
