Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Fresno, CA)

Harborlight Birch Transit Planning is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for service alerts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 46 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Design for tasks around service alerts that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in service alerts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
