Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Detroit, MI)

Cedar Lakeside Health Group is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for electronic records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Design for tasks around electronic records that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in electronic records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
