Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Colorado Springs, CO)

Northwind Timber Insurance Group sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Colorado Springs. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in premium billing. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Colorado Springs. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
