Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Charlotte, NC)

Northwind Sable Early Learning Group is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on research and testing for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 21 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charlotte. • We reply to every applicant.
