Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Charleston, SC)

Nova Fox Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Charleston. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. Low staff turnover is a goal we take seriously. What you will do • Design for tasks around meal programmes that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in meal programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
