Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Redstone River Markets Group and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around shrink and waste that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
