Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Buffalo, NY)

Greenridge Union Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Buffalo. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. We keep decisions close to customers and expect people to explain things plainly. What you will do • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in deposit accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
