Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Boston, MA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Wilder Medical and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in device records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
