Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Boise, ID)

Cedar Sparrow Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Boise design routes and schedules, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our research and testing. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around survey data that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in survey data. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
