Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Baltimore, MD)

Bluepeak Cobalt Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Baltimore, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our research and testing. You would join a small organisation of about 83 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around family communication that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
