Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Loom Insurance Group and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Design for tasks around premium billing that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in premium billing. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
