Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Glen Health Group and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be research and testing. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around electronic records that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in electronic records. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
