Senior UX Designer - research and testing (Anchorage, AK)

Ironwood Pine Community Partners Group is a Anchorage charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on research and testing. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around grant reporting that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in grant reporting. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
