Senior UX Designer - mobile flows (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Cedar Stone Transit Planning and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around ridership counts that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in ridership counts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in San Jose. • We reply to every applicant.
