Senior UX Designer - mobile flows (Salt Lake City, UT)

Fernwood Labs is a Salt Lake City charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around client intake that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in client intake. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We reply to every applicant.
