Senior UX Designer - mobile flows (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Summit Ridge Early Learning and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around tuition and subsidies that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in tuition and subsidies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
