Senior UX Designer - mobile flows (Rochester, NY)

Stonegate Amber Medical Group designs and makes medical devices in Rochester. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on mobile flows. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around complaint handling that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in complaint handling. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
