Senior UX Designer - mobile flows (Rochester, NY)

Nova Ridge Insurance is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for policy renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around policy renewals that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in policy renewals. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
