Senior UX Designer - mobile flows (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Nova Bright Financial and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around regulatory reports that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in regulatory reports. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
