Senior UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Stonegate Keystone Transit Planning Group is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for route schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around route schedules that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in route schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
