Senior UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Fernwood Sparrow Transit Planning Group plans bus and rail service for cities around Cincinnati, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around fare systems that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in fare systems. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
