Senior UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

We are growing our team at Bright Junction Press and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. Many of us have been here for ten years or more. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around proofing that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in proofing. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
