Senior UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Summit Ridge Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Rochester, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Design for tasks around classroom supplies that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in classroom supplies. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
