Senior UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Fernwood Lantern Insurance provides coverage to households and businesses around Cleveland, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Design for tasks around policy renewals that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in policy renewals. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
