Senior UX Designer - mobile flows (remote)

Cedar Lakeside Transit Planning is a transit-planning firm in Chicago working with agencies and riders. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on mobile flows. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around service alerts that people do under time pressure. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in service alerts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
