Senior UX Designer - mobile flows (Philadelphia, PA)

Nova Willow Learning Group is an education provider in Philadelphia serving students and families. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on mobile flows. We follow the school calendar and we like people who like learning. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in attendance records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
