Senior UX Designer - mobile flows (Philadelphia, PA)

Nova Juniper Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Philadelphia design routes and schedules, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. You would join a large organisation of about 433 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Design for tasks around service alerts that people do under time pressure. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in service alerts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
