Senior UX Designer - mobile flows (Grand Rapids, MI)

Westbrook Lantern Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Grand Rapids area, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around attendance records that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in attendance records. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
