Senior UX Designer - mobile flows (Grand Rapids, MI)

Nova West Banking Services is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on mobile flows for loan files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 55 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around loan files that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in loan files. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
