Senior UX Designer - mobile flows (Boise, ID)

Fernwood Sparrow Transit Planning Group plans bus and rail service for cities around Boise, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. Work is collaborative and map-heavy. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around accessibility audits that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Background in accessibility audits. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
