Senior UX Designer - mobile flows (Austin, TX)

Amberfield Pine Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Austin, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our mobile flows. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Austin. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. What we are looking for • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Background in device records. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
