Senior UX Designer - mobile flows (Austin, TX)

Northwind Cedar Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Austin serving households and small businesses. We are hiring a Senior UX Designer to take on mobile flows. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Design for tasks around deposit accounts that people do under time pressure. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. Nice to have • Background in deposit accounts. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
