Senior UX Designer - mobile flows (Anchorage, AK)

We are growing our team at Northwind Pike Markets and adding a Senior UX Designer whose main responsibility will be mobile flows. You would join a large organisation of about 923 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Design for tasks around online orders that people do under time pressure. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in online orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
