Senior UX Designer - design systems (Wichita, KS)

Cedar Fern Banking Services is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for loan files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Design for tasks around loan files that people do under time pressure. • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. • Care for plain language and accessibility. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in loan files. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
