Senior UX Designer - design systems (Tucson, AZ)

Foxglove Stone Transit Planning Group is a transit-planning firm in Tucson working with agencies and riders, and we need a Senior UX Designer to lead our design systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Interview users and staff to understand where the current experience fails. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Design for tasks around fare systems that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Background in fare systems. • Experience running usability tests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
