Senior UX Designer - design systems (Tucson, AZ)

Amberfield Cobalt Medical is looking for a Senior UX Designer. The job centres on design systems for device records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Design for tasks around device records that people do under time pressure. • Work with developers so designs ship as intended. • Sketch, prototype and test new flows with real people. • Audit screens for accessibility and readability. • Maintain a small design system of reusable components. What we are looking for • Care for plain language and accessibility. • Comfort with Figma or a similar tool. • A portfolio showing your process, not only finished screens. • Two or more years of UX or product design experience. Nice to have • Experience running usability tests. • Background in device records. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Tucson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
